About

Why this exists

Governments publish current state and destroy history. The UK sponsor register is republished on most working days and the previous version is simply gone. So the questions people actually ask — was this employer added recently, is it still listed, has anything changed — have no answer, not because the data is secret but because nobody kept it.

SponsorArchive keeps it. The archive opened on 2 August 2026 and grows by one capture a day. That is the entire idea.

Who runs it

To be completed before launch. This site is run by a named individual, not an anonymous company, and that name belongs here along with how to reach them.

How it is funded

Advertising, and later optional paid alerts for people tracking a specific employer or route. We do not accept advertising from immigration consultants or agents who charge individuals for help with applications — that category targets this audience specifically, and taking their money would cost us the only thing this site has.

Editorial rules

  • We publish observations of published files, with dates, and nothing we cannot support.
  • We do not describe an organisation's absence from the register as a licence being revoked, suspended or lost.
  • We do not give immigration advice, and no feature on this site will ever tell someone what to do about their case.
  • We correct our own errors publicly and quickly.

Press and data requests

Journalists, researchers and university international offices are welcome to use this data with attribution. If you need a cut we do not publish, or the provenance manifests for a specific date range, write to hello@sponsorarchive.com.
