What a listing does and does not mean
It means: on the date shown, the organisation appeared on the register of employers licensed by the Home Office to sponsor workers on the route stated.
It does not mean: that the organisation is hiring, that it will sponsor you, that a job offer you have received is genuine, or that any recruiter claiming to act for it is genuine. A licence is a permission held by the employer, not a promise to any individual.
If an organisation is not listed: it may never have held a licence, may have held one that has ended, or may be listed under a different registered name than the one you searched. Many employers trade under a name that differs from the one on the register.
